Jeanette Montross had surgery September 18th. The doctor removed her bladder and the lymph nodes in the surrounding area and was able to save the kidney. She is home now and there will be 3 or 4 month recovery period and she will start another 16 weeks of chemo about November firstt. A visiting nurse comes in twice a day to change the dressings. Phyllis Seely is in the Surgical Care Unit at Winter Haven Hospital. She was admitted to the hospital with a bowel obstruction. Her doctor hoped medication would solve the problem. It didnt, and Phyllis had surgery this past Thursday to remove part of her colon and also her gall bladder. She is doing well, but will be in the hospital for a few more days. Don Peterson, of Stone Fly, is now in an assisted living facility in Englewood. His wife Irene passed away earlier this year.
Sharon Fox is not doing well. She has a serious blood disorder. Cards may be sent to her at the local address in the directory.
Jeannine Johnson is back in the hospital. She has pancreatic cancer. Cards may be sent to the northern address in the directory.
Doris Berle had an allergic reaction to either the tape or the dressing after she had a pace maker put in. She is here today, and is doing much better.
