Helen Porter passed away November 5th. Her nephew Ken Smith and his children were her only remaining relatives. She spoke of him often. Cards may be sent to Ken at 200 Ridge Manor, Lake Wales, FL 33853. Anyone wishing to do so could make a donation to the Saddlebag Community Church in memory of Helen or to the Memorial Garden.
Loarraine Kobierecki's daughter Gloria passed away November 6th. Cards may be sent to Loraraine at the local address in the directory.
Mary Lou Shimp's granddaughter passed away last week. She was just 20 years old. Cards may be sent to Mary Lou at the local address in the directory.
Phillip Bell had been released from the hospital and was home when he had a reaction to the medications following heart surgery at Winter Haven Hospital. He was admitted to Lake Wales Hospital where he remained for three days. Philliip has to returned to Canada where he will receive therapy. Cards may be sent to the Canadian address in the directory. Postage is 85 cents. .
Anna Miller is home from the hospital. Cards may be sent to Bob Staib and Anna's address in the directory.
Chuck Seely had emergency surgery at Lake Wales Hospital for a strangulated hernia. He is in room 213. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Bill and Grace Gilfillian's daughter Tracy is now out of critical care following more surgery for pancreatic cancer. All things considered, she is doing very well. If things keep progressing Tracy may be able to come home in three week rather than six weeks. Bill and Grace wish to thank everyone who has been so kind with emails, cards, phone calls and notes. They are very appreciative.
We received a very nice letter from Don and Jerrolyn thanking the many Saddlebaggers for their prayers, cards and calls following the passing of their son Dewayne.
We also received lovely card from Gil Schleweis for the many cards he received on the passing of his wife Midge. Gil plans to attend one of our church services sometime this winter.
The Bock family sent a lovely thank you note for all the support given to their parents Lester and Dorothy in making Saddlebag her home.
