A memorial service was held at the clubhouse Saturday November 16th for Don Drabik who passed away November 5th of heart failure. Cards may be sent to Jo-Ann at 340 Lake Suzanne Drive, Lake Wales, FL 33898.
Polly Verrier is in Lake Wales Medical Center room 222-1. She was dehydrated and her potassium and magnesium levels were extremely low. Polly is on IV for the dehydration and also antibiotics. Tests are being done to identify the type of blood infection she has. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Mary Ann King was discharged this past week from Lake Wales Medical Center following admission for a staff infection and a urinary tract infection.
Clay Cogswell is home from Lake Wales Hospital following admission for fluid around the heart. He is resting at home. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Charlie Soule came home Friday following a long stay at Lake Wales Medical Center. Pat said he is doing well and getting a little stronger each day. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
I spoke with Anne Martens last evening. It's been nine weeks since Arnie's heart surgery. Heart and lung specialists are still doing tests as he is not responding well to the medications he is on to assist his breathing. Arnie is not doing well and the doctors said there is nothing more they can do for him. Both Arnie and Anne thank all the Saddlebaggers for the many cards he has received.
