Mid Wodrich has gone back to her daughter's home in Dania. The spot on her lung has grown. She will see her doctor in Ft. Lauderdale to determine what can be done. Her lungs are too bad to have a biopsy taken to determine what type of cancer she has. Cards may be sent to in care of her daughter Debbie Kropat, 829 NW 6th Ave., Dania, FL 33004. Jo Dowler has been diagnosed with a spot on her pancreas. I don't have any detailed information. Cards may be sent to her at the local address in the directory.
Elaine Teetsell is home from the hospital following heart surgery. She is feeling OK, but tires easily. Their son Gary, who has been with Elaine and Bill will be going home in a few days, and another son will be coming to help out for three or four weeks. Lois Lapsley will see an orthopedic doctor this week to determine what action will be taken for her knee. An MRI showed a torn ligament (acl). She will see her surgeon this Friday to determine the results of physical therapy following her shoulder surgery, and find out how many more weeks of therapy is needed.
Newt Sargent is in a hospital in Pennsylvania with pneumonia. Cards may be sent to the northern address in the directory.
