There will be a Memorial Service on December 10th at 3:PM at St. Mark;s Methodist Church located on A1A at the end of Rte. 192 in Indialantic. FL. Cards may be sent to Cathy at 7815 Maplewood Dr. #702, West Melbourne, FL 32904.
Illness: Mary Windisch was going to pick up a friend to attend a church service in town. She opened her car door intending to knock on her friend's door. She thought the car was in park, but it was actually in reverse. The car dragged Mary on the blacktop for about 25 feet before coming to a stop as it hit a parked car. Mary was taken to Lake Wales ER, and after 4 hours the doctor determined that she had a broken ankle, a huge gash in her left leg and a badly torn up right arm. She will have outpatient surgery today (Monday) to have a pin put in her ankle to hold the bone so it will heal properly. Mary will be back in Saddlebag Monday evening. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Carroll and Carolyn Phaup's daughter was in a very serious automobile accident. The Phaups bought at 22 Silversides Sides last year. They will not be coming to Saddlebag this year. Cards may be sent to them at 8 Albany Dr., Hampton, VA 23666.
Elinor Roeschen was taken by ambulance to Lake Wales Medical Center Sunday with extremely high blood sugar. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Janice Todociuk is in Lake Wales Medical Center with the early stages of pneumonia. She may possibly come home today or tomorrow. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Doug Porrett is doing better than expected following open heart surgery. He wishes to thank the many folks who sent cards and prayers as he recuperates.
Sharon Porrett had micro back surgery this past week to correct a sciatic nerve problem. The surgery was successful and Sharon is recuperating at home. Cards may be sent to her at the northern address in the directory.
Thank You: We received a very nice thank you letter from Ed Romanosky for the many cards (over 60) he received plus many calls from the States and Canada. Ed is coming along slowly as the doctors have him on cumidun for the blood. His heart is out of rhythm but his doctor is hopeful that with the blood thinner the heart will stabilize.
Please remember our Saddlebag friends prayers, with cards and phone calls
