SADDLEBAG SUNSHINE REPORT
December 5, 2011
Illness: Elinor Roeschen is still in Lake Wales Medical Center, room 335. The doctor is trying to regulate her extremely high blood sugar before releasing her. A cardiologist examined Elinor. Tests showed there is nothing wrong with her heart. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Janice Todosciuk is out of the hospital. Frank and Janice are leaving Wednesday to spend the holidays with family.
Mary Windisch asked me to tell everyone that there will not be a Christmas Cantata on December 18th. Also, there will be no extra rehearsals or a catered dinner this year as Mary is recuperating. She did have surgery to put pins in her ankle, but she cannot wear a boot yet until the swelling goes down. She cannot put any weight on foot yet. Mary will go to see her doctor Friday. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Thank You: We received an email from Bob Evenden thanking everyone for the prayers, call and cards following his back surgery November 23rd. The doctor told him the surgery went well and it will be 2 - 3 weeks before the pain is gone. He seems to be getting a little better each day. Bob will see his doctor on the 13th of this month and if all is well he and Flo hope to start south on the 15th. They are looking forward to returning to Saddlebag. This will be their 32nd year here.
Don Grey called to thank all for the prayers, calls and cards following his stroke. He is improving and is using his exercise ball to help with the use of his hand
Other: Barb and Dick Park will not be down again this year. Friday is Barb's birthday and it was suggested that as many of their Saddlebag friends as wish to do so, send her a card.
Please remember our Saddlebag friends prayers, with cards and .phone calls
