Jessie Jensen is still in Lake Wales Medical Center. She is on medication for the blood clots in her lungs and is responding well. Jessie has a “closed" break in the tibia and has to stay off the leg for five weeks. She hopes to come home tomorrow. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Terry Mounce spoke with Charlie Parsons yesterday regarding Betty. Betty cracked her collar bone, not her shoulder. That is doing OK, however she has had a heart attack. It was discovered the main artery is completely blocked and another one has a 30% blockage. The doctors cannot do anything about either one at this time. Betty is wearing a “life vest" that has an external defibrillator in it. She must wear it all the time except for showering. Betty has to build up her strength and in 2-3 weeks. The doctors will asses the situation then. Meanwhile she is being treated medically. Charlie and Betty's daughter is here with them. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Jim and Doreen Lenox's daughter Brenda Chenard was in a very serious accident last year and had multiple internal and external injuries. Recently physical therapy for a broken leg still lingering from the accident was started too soon and femur was broken again. Brenda is now facing two more surgeries. Cards may be sent to her in care of Jim & Doreen Lennox at the local address in at the directory.
Lenny Brodeur has pneumonia. There are sugar issues and his kidneys are not working well. Cards may be sent to him at the local address in the directory.
Erna Friesen and family wish to thank all the wonderful friends for the cards, comments on Facebook and calls offering kind thoughts of condolences. Bud's Memorial program is on his bulletin board in the clubhouse.
