We just learned that Margaret (Maggie) Gaudette of Gray Fox died in August. Cards may be sent to her daughter, Judy Chenaille, who lives at 103 Saddlebag Trail.
Bill Hensel is now in a nursing home. The address for cards is Fairhaven South, 850 Marseilles Ave., Upper Sandusky, Ohio, 43351.
George Shencavits will have his second heart surgery December 15th. Cards may still be sent to George at his daughter's address: c/o Joann Sheridan, 159 Main St., Yaphank, NY 11980.
Mildred Haines at the Grove Nursing Home where she is receiving physical therapy. She is in room 210. Cards may be sent to her there or to the local address in the directory.
Jim Lennox, who had been treated for severe kidney problems, has been given the OK to return to Florida. They will be here shortly.
Bobby Burns is home from the hospital and doing quite well. Cards may be still sent to the local address in the directory.
Louise Shirkey had knee replacement surgery this past week. She may possible come home tomorrow (Tuesday). Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Bob Jones is having a pacemaker put in today (Monday). Cards may be sent to the post office box address in the directory.
Betty Southen has been quite ill. They will be delayed in returning to Saddlebag.
Velma Hoyle has been diagnosed with H1N1 (swine flu). She is doctoring at home and said she is feeling better. Cards may be sent to her at “Pete" Peterson's address in the directory.
Max Loudenbeck will have carotid surgery on December 15th. Cards may be sent to the northern address in the directory.
Eleanore Snyder's son, Laurence (Larry) Williams and his wife Gertrude were in a serious automobile accident. They are both in Mercy Hospital in Wisconsin. Larry is in critical condition and is on a ventilator. He has multiple injuries including brain damage and a punctured lung. He is in ICU at this time. Gertrude sustained injuries including broken bones. She is in room R5118B. The address of Mercy Hospital is 1000 Mineral Pond Ave., Janesville, WI 53548.
Gloria and Harold Park's son Daniel had severe headaches, disorientation and erratic behavior for days before he was taken to the hospital, On Thanksgiving day he was worse and was taken to OR and had 2 stents to relieve the pressure on the brain. An MRI was taken on Friday and on Saturday he had surgery for a rare cyst that attached to the veins carrying fluid to the brain stem and spinal cord. The surgery took 8 hours. Dan was good Sunday, but then started downhill. He is still in ICU with bacterial meningitis. They hoped he would be moved out of ICU on Sunday, December 6th.
